RIAS Technologies has signed an agreement with Australian Aerospace & Defence Innovations (AADI) to evaluate opportunities for RIASORB® within Australia’s Defence sector.

Under the agreement, AADI is responsible for identifying potential applications for RIASORB® and developing a testing regime to generate relevant performance data. RIAS Technologies will also be represented by AADI across its extensive network throughout the Department of Defence and leading industry primes.

RIAS Technologies is pleased to advise that the rights issue undertaken in the first quarter of 2009 was fully subscribed. The capital raised is being used to progress to commercialisation a number of RIASORB® applications. Several projects are now underway across a range of industries.

RIASORB® technology has featured prominently in the latest edition of 'Bike Business', a B2B magazine in the motorcycling industry.

RIASORB® suspension was one of three inventions pitched to the ABC's New Inventors panel last month as part of the show's special 200th episode. Our technology was very well received, with the judges declaring it one of the best inventions they have seen this year!

Since the show was broadcast nationally we have received a number of expressions of interest from a variety of industries, and we expect more to come as the episode is aired on cable in South East Asia and on Qantas in-flight entertainment.
