The potential of RIAS Technologies patented RIASORB® rotational suspension technology to improve the travel conditions for defence personnel will be evaluated thanks to a funding agreement reached with the Defence Materials Technology Centre (DMTC).

Supported by the DMTC and defence industry consultants aadiDefence (http://www.aadidefence.com), this project, which runs from January to June 2011, will evaluate RIASORB® for vibration and blast impact qualities for application across land, air and maritime platforms.

The DMTC is a joint industry and government funded organisation that delivers new materials technologies and manufacturing processes to enhance Australia’s defence capabilities (see www.dmtc.com.au).
