RIAS (Rheopectic Impact Absorption and Suspension) Technologies was formed in 1998 (initially as StreetSurfer International Ltd) to develop and market a radical five wheeled cycle with unique suspension qualities (the 'StreetSurfer' - see www.streetsurfer.com.au).

Having identified the value of the patented core technology used in the StreetSurfer for a range of alternative applications, RIAS Technologies embarked on a program of commercialising the technology across a broad spectrum under the RIASORB™ brand.
